Thank you for helping us make a difference.
‘Tis the season… the time of year that reminds us to be grateful for living in a great country, for the opportunity to make products we are proud of, and for being able to provide living-wage American jobs for the men and women who make up our BGREEN Family. It also reminds us that there are those of us less fortunate, right here in our own community.
So, when Sica Schmitz from Bead & Reel called us to purchase underwear (out of her own pocket) for a group of women graduating from a 12-week program transitioning from homelessness back into the workforce, we were both humbled and delighted to be able to help. We were able to donate a week’s worth of panties to every woman in the program, and offered to continue supporting her graduating classes in 2017.
For the past several months, we have been working behind the scenes, raising money to generate badly needed clothing donations for LA’s vast homeless population. In addition to collaborating with Sica on her program, we will soon be announcing a new effort with a wider reach, with the goal of giving clothes to every homeless person in Los Angeles county.
Getting involved in social causes has been stitched in our DNA since our inception. We’re proud to have been involved in many philanthropic projects, ranging from building a local community garden in Central LA, to helping raise money for a new school building in Haiti.
The truth is, it’s all of YOU that help us make a difference… we couldn’t do it without you. So, from the bottom of our collective hearts, THANK YOU for supporting our mission to produce quality organic products, reduce our impact on the environment, create American jobs, and help out families and communities alike.
We can’t wait to have more stories like this to share with you very soon.
With Love & Gratitude,

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone:
We’d like to share some exciting and important developments at BGREEN during our favorite food centric holiday!
Our Team has been working hard behind the scenes, expanding our team and increasing our production capacity. And, as promised in our last update, we have our first group of replenishments ready for Holiday shopping. We figured you have been waiting for a while and what better way to introduce you to them, than with a Storewide 25% Off Sale for Thanksgiving?! This first production run is massive, it includes your updated styles plus new arrivals, with most scheduled to be completed by December 5th. A small number of items will be completed by December 15th. We never want to run out of your favorite essentials again!
In some other exciting news, you’ll notice that many of the new updated styles will be arriving to you in our brand new packaging!
It’s been a LONG 2 year process to get it right. Our struggle was balancing our ultimate goal of never creating any unnecessary new waste, while also protecting the garments from the elements during warehousing and shipping (moisture, dust, etc.). After countless iterations, we developed reusable bags from EVA material, that won’t release HCL when heated or Dioxin when burned. Perfect to be used as jewelry, coin, or make up bags at home or during your travels.
We also did a complete overhaul of our shipping bags material. We now exclusively use 100% Recycled Poly Mailers provided by our new friends at EcoEnclose (www.ecoenclose.com). They finally made it easy, and cost-effective, for us to enclose our products in a more sustainable way that supports our core values. Organic. Fair Trade. Made in USA.
We can’t wait to share our next update with you soon. In the meantime, from our BGREEN Family to yours, have a Happy Thanksgiving Weekend ahead!

Let’s focus on something we can all agree on… MAKE AMERICAN CLOTHES AGAIN! Did you know that only about 2% of the apparel sold here is actually Made in America? That’s a fact (a sad one). Check out “The True Cost” Documentary on Netflix for more on that (http://truecostmovie.com/).
At BGREEN, we’ve been committed to making quality organic men’s and women’s apparel in Los Angeles since 2002. This November we’re making a statement by introducing our “Make American Clothes Again” T-Shirt. It’s made from 100% Organic Cotton, using 100% Fair Trade Certified Labor, and it’s 100% Knitted, Cut, Sewn & Printed in the USA. Not only is this Tee unbelievably Soft and Comfy, but it will also make a statement about what you stand for as an American… wearing something actually made right HERE!
We certainly don’t take for granted all the freedoms we enjoy, "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness", which is due in large part to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. That’s why we’ve dedicated these shirts to our active and retired military Veterans, and will be donating 10% of all their sales to charities that help raise awareness for issues our Vets are facing today.
For the month of November, we’re donating that 10% to our good friends at The MOVEMBER Foundation. These funds will help to support their efforts in providing better mental healthcare for our Vets, and to help curb the astounding number of Veteran suicides in the USA each year (22-a-day!).
Thanks in advance for your support of this movement, our brand, and most importantly our Veterans… let’s MAKE AMERICAN CLOTHES AGAIN! #MACA

What’s up BGREEN Fam?!
If you’re reading this, you probably know we’re having a pretty amazing Friends & Family sale going on in addition to our site wide 20% weekend sale. We just want to give you a quick update on what is going on over here while you shop!
The reason we’re having this sale in the first place is to make room for our new 2017 collection. Some of the new product lines will start becoming available this November! As we mentioned in our last blog post, we’re also in the process of revamping our site with a fresh new look and feel, and can’t wait to share it with you. As a first step in the process, you may have noticed we’ve recently made some changes to our branding and logo. Please know, that while the products you receive during this sale may still contain our old logo, the materials, construction, and fit are exactly the same.
Thanks again for your continued loyalty and support, which enables us to continue manufacturing right here in the USA.

Hey BGREEN Fam,
We just want to update you on a few things happening over here at BGREEN as we head into an amazing Labor Day Weekend!
1) We will be doing a new redesign of our site very soon, and have recently integrated with some new warehouse and inventory technologies to help make our online shopping experience SO much better for you J However, with new technology always come a few new hiccups. We apologize if any of you have recently ordered your favorite BGREEN products only to be told we are actually out of them. This is a known issue, and will be resolved over the next 2 weeks. BUT, that brings us to some exciting news…
2) We’ll be releasing a whole new updated 2017 line of our basic essentials just in time for the holidays! These will be offered in a limited run of styles & colors to start, but we’ll be broadening our offering as we head into next year, Do Not Fear. And this brings up some even BETTER news…
3) Because we believe in creating the best Organic, Fair Trade, Made in USA products in a sustainable way… we thought we should also help to sustain the amount of dough in your pocket. We’ll soon be sending out promo codes on all our social media channels and via email, to give huge discounts on all our current 2016 inventory… BOOM!
Thanks for being a huge reason we’re able to continue to manufacture our products in-house right here in Los Angeles, at America’s First and Only Fair Trade Certified Factory. Looking forward to sharing more with you guys soon, and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions in the meantime.
All our best,
